optoma gt720 projector, 0 at best buy, 2500 lumens, short throw, must buy for gamers, and movie lovers too. Cant beat gaming on a 300in picture, hands down, optoma 3d-xl adapter comes out soon, converts everything into 3d. That includes the PS3 system.

Surprisingly, presenting HD? projector in such low definition video clip. It should be at least at 720p.
January 5th, 2012 at 00:52

January 5th, 2012 at 01:35

January 5th, 2012 at 01:58

This? projector has a serious shaking problem. I have posted this comment here before but Christie, instead of fixing the problem, deletes my comment. The projector is overpriced for what it is.
January 5th, 2012 at 03:25
This projector suffers from a serious vibration problem. It is not worth the? money.
January 5th, 2012 at 03:37
cost doesn’t represent? quality.

January 5th, 2012 at 06:53
Now that looked very nice and you can sure bet it would cost more then £20K even the xenon lamps used with 35mm projectors I guess these are the same with universal? adaptation they cost £800.00 a piece the last time when I worked as projectionist, handle with care or it would be coming out of your pay-check. LOL
January 5th, 2012 at 07:04

January 5th, 2012 at 11:37
@chubbz1da I don’t own the 750 yet so I’m not to sure how to help… might want to look? up gt 750 forums. As far as screen size or angle, it all depends how far u pull the projector away from the screen. The 3d should be able to play out the box, u might want to check the menu settings with the remote, there might be a 3d mode u got to turn on..
January 5th, 2012 at 11:53
hello again my friend, i bought the optoma gt750, did your previous model have problems reading your ps3 through hdmi? im having serious issues connecting through the hdmi1.4 port , also what setting do you have? i cant seem to fix the screen size angle etc …any help?
January 5th, 2012 at 12:20

Lol
January 5th, 2012 at 12:33
@chubbz1da a lot of questions, ok here goes… all gt series are short throw projectors, all u need is 5-8 feet. Mine is around 6-8 ft, I don’t mount, just place on a table like in my vid. I have netflix and? blockbuster combo pass for unlimited games and. Blu ray movie rentals. Im getting my mw3 limited ed turtle beach 7.1 headset and ill be set… the gt 750 just came out to buy a week now. $800, gears of war 3 in 3d to go with my limited gears of war 3 360 console..yea buddy
January 5th, 2012 at 13:31
@waiehu27? thnks for the quick reply bruda, okay nfl ticket is a plus then, i been searching the gt750e ever since i stopped watching your video man, hopefully the 750 can be up close as yours, now did you leave your projector right there like in this video or did you decorated around and mount on wall etc?since now im cancelling the basic cable i will returning the tv for the750e for xbox n ps3( i have hulu plus etc), do you have video of your set up , like your sofas and how long is your HDMIS?
January 5th, 2012 at 13:38
@chubbz1da wassup chubz, first of all, there. Is no co axel output for basic cable, I think there might be an? adapter. I also have a 46in panasonic 3d plasma, and its awesome, but it doesn’t compare to a 200in picture on ur wall hands down. The ps3 Sunday ticket is worth the money bro. And look up optoma gt750e, its my next projector, its the new model because it has 3d built in. For $800, the same price of my gt720 with 2 hdmi ports now.
January 5th, 2012 at 14:35
@chubbz1da? also i saw the new projector came out with 3d , with no 3d adapter needed and same brand as yours , did yo by anychance upgrad?
January 5th, 2012 at 14:42
hey bruda, man i envy your set up ..!!! if only i wouldve thought bout this i wouldnt have bought this dumbass 51inch plasma 3d your set up looks way way better man , and it makes more sense. couple questions if you dont? mind, i only have basic cable no cable box just the regular cable hooked up to my plasma, but is there any way to hook up cable to this projector if so i’m sold, i only use basic cable for fox nbc( football) which brings me to my nxt point is sunday nfl ticket worth it onps3?
January 5th, 2012 at 14:42
@iHusker402 Really? what projector? And was there a screen used? I think the optoma gt series is the best all around projector for? picture and budget. Not to many projectors are that bright, short throw, and 1080p at that price, also it has built in audio… If i had a screen it would look even better..
January 5th, 2012 at 15:10
good size. but ive seen a much better? picture.
January 5th, 2012 at 15:22
Quick question, do you? know if the gt720 can be mounted on a ceiling mount?
Thanks.
January 5th, 2012 at 16:00
First of all, what are u running ur optoma on? Xbox, ps3, cable tv digital box? And is ur GT on a level table that isn’t leaning to one side. There is pic settings in the GT, use ur remote to change pic settings. As u can see on my vid the pic should be squared and? looking good, make sure u put it to 1080p if u can
January 5th, 2012 at 16:29
@waiehu27 how did you get rid of the trapezoid looking picture and made it more square like? t.v.?
January 5th, 2012 at 16:48
i? answered ur ?
January 5th, 2012 at 17:14
1) You dont need a fan, i played 8hrs sometimes and never used a fan. it has a built in fan. U cant feel heat unless u place ur hand on the side of the unit. Dont touch it, problem solved.
2)The GT 720 is a short throw projector, i think 15 more than enough distance. The gt only needs 5 to throw up a 60-80in picture. i would reccommend 8-10 feet, like how i have mine set up. it makes a big picture but still keeps the brightness up there. If u have a screeen it should? look even better.
January 5th, 2012 at 17:26
I just hooked mine up and I love it—HOWEVER I do have a few questions.
1) the machine kicks out alot of heat from the bulb. should I blow a fan on it? At this time it is not mounted. Can I blow a fan on the air intake side to help cool the bulb down when I turn it off?
2) I am still trying to adjust my screen on the wall. the projector is about 15 feet away? from the wall… any suggestions?
January 5th, 2012 at 18:18
@waiehu27 but still i read it wont work with ps3 for 3d … games work? fine though
January 5th, 2012 at 18:47
