One look at the seamlessly curved, 2880×900 pixel resolution, 3.2:1 aspect ratio, .02 millisecond pixel response time (!!!) screens from NEC and Alienware, and you’ll believe in a place called awesome. For now, that place is in the TI and Alienware booths at CES 2008.

Obviously you don’t know computers. I Have been building PC’s since before Alienware existed. Alienware is an over-hyped custom PC that used to use ASUS Motherboards. Something you can buy off the shelf. All Alienware does is overclock slightly everything and fine tune shit. Something any avid PC building specialist can do with $800. Were talking desktop’s here. An Alienware laptop on the otherhand is quite a feat

There is no way in hell that an $800 PC is going to outperform an Alienware computer. I see no videos on your channel showing any proof of that. You’re just making it up so that you can get more channel views, aren’t you. FUCK OFF!

“2880 is overkill! total overkill!”
Once upon a time when the norm was 640 by 480. 800 by 600 was considered overkill. And a lot of games at the time only used 320 by 240 on PCs.
The more pixels one has, the more realistic things become.

i Have it!!!
February 10th, 2010 at 12:19
Seeing porn in that thing would be Awesome O.O
February 10th, 2010 at 12:23
Its really cool but it could be bigger :/
February 10th, 2010 at 12:45
it’s .2ms, not 2ms
February 10th, 2010 at 13:39
2ms respond time is now the norm… I have 5ms response time screen .. and I can clearly see the ghosting
February 10th, 2010 at 14:21
The said something about ~4000 bucks @ 1:23
Which is freaking expensive! They better switch from monitor to TFT, or no one’s going to touch this!
February 10th, 2010 at 14:26
HaHa, My $800 PC out performs these Alienwares machines like no other. Video and Benchmarks are my PROOF!
Alienware Fails,Me win once again!

February 10th, 2010 at 16:00
It’s just a computer dude. Relax. Their nothing special unless your a consumer whore who’s technically ignorant.
February 10th, 2010 at 16:23
“It feels totally natural” If my car responded that slow I’d be dead.
February 10th, 2010 at 16:26
Yeah and If your using this for lets say gaming, your computer has a ‘ping’ of about 12ms processing time so anything under that isn’t going to matter anyway, especially running at 60hz..
It was only marked as spam because it was an Alienware product, which is a religion to some people.
And yeah you would only be able to watch videos in the field of view, which I imagine is very bad.
February 10th, 2010 at 16:51
true the human eye does have great difficulty with noticing 20, anyway strange your comment got marked as spam, and watching videos would be kinda crap on it too.:)
