The days of these giant, ueber-expensive DLP PJs with the monstrous xenon lamps are drawing to a close. With laser, LED, and laser-LED hybrid projectors already avaiialble, the UHP and xenon lamp projectors are a dying breed indeed.
Laser/LED PJs have light sources that last anywhre from 20,000 to 60,000 hours before anything has to be replaced, they burrn cool, have better color gamut, almost no warm-up time, and no cool-down requirement. What’s not to like?

@bunkofurko the “low cost of ownership” statement is pretty deceiving.

Chris, if you have to ask the price of a Christie PJ, you probably cannot afford it…
