Question by magicm: Will I get a rainbow effect on an Optoma HD72 DLP projector?
I am poised to buy an Optoma HD72 DLP projector. On some lower-end DLP projectors, I sometimes see and annoying “rainbow effect.”
Will I be constantly seeing the rainbow effect on this projector.

Also, If someone has this projector, please let me know what you think of it.

The more segments and the faster the color wheel, the less likely you will see the rainbow effect. Entry level DLP projectors have 2x, 4 segment color wheel. High end color wheels will have 6-8 segments running at 5-speed. Check the specs.
