   Our lamp was going out on the KDF-55WF655, so we ordered a new one IN the housing, rather than just the lamp. This replacement lamp is made by Osram, and so far, no problems. The screen is definitely brighter than what it had been, over 6 years of use. I recommend this type of replacement as cost effective.

   The lamp works great but shipping was over a week. This lamp was not manufactured by Osram as advertised. I purchased this lamp because I wanted an Osram lamp. This lamp has a false advertisment! These lamps are very expensive to replace and long life is key to value. Hopefully this lamp will please me will long life.
