Not as shown! It is just the bulb and no casing.,
The picture shown in the ad is the bulb inside the casing. That is what I assumed I was buying so was surprised when I opened the box. Only the bare bulb. I assumed this was going to be an easy switch, just pop out the old one and plug in the new one. Not quite. I had to disassemble the casing, which was 2 screws. Then had to unscrew a screw and a nut to get the new bulb in the casing. Not tough, took me 20 minutes instead of the 5 I heard others talk about when the who unit is used. I am not sure if the XL2200 is the whole unit and the XL2200U is just the bulb? Either way, Amazon and Samsungparts should have made this clear.

Wrong Bulb,
I should have read the previous review before ordering. They sent me the wrong bulb. This is NOT the XL-5200. Idiots!

Seller needs to provide better description,
Seller needs to provide more details for this product in the description. This lamp is marked XL-2200. I had no idea it was not an intended replacement for XL-5200 and would obviously not fit my rear projection Sony. Lamp returned.
