I just received mine and attempted to put it together. The screws that it came with are too long and so the $900 projector is not very secure. Either I will have to find new screws or some washers to lengthen it up so that it fits tightly. Also, I am not sure if the spacers are supposed to sit on top of the projector screw holes are sit around the bevel. I am confused on this one. Would of made more sense to fit around it than sit on top. I am very disappointed that a product which is supposed to be designed for my model projector requires me to go get additional materials to make it work. Bottom line, get a different mount.

Works great for the projector it is intended for. Beats spending 200 or so dollars.

I can’t really compare this mount with other mounts, since this is the first one I get, but it came with all the parts and it’s super easy to install and adjust.
Once it’s installed you don’t need a wrench to adjust it, you just tighten the ball by adjusting the big screw (for a lack of a better word – the piece probably has another name) with your hand. And a great feature is that if you want to temporarily take the projector out of the ceiling to either use it somewhere else or clean the ceiling it’s a snap to do it.
The ball is a plastic piece, so we’ll see how it stands the test of time, but I don’t think there will be a problem with it.
Overall great quality with good, easy instructions and great value too.
