i was playing Wii and i heard a shattering sound from inside the projector and there was a few flashes of color and then it went black and white. i don’t think it was the bulb because my game was still going. and it was not my Wii or anything in between. but i still urned it off and promptly exited the room.

It soundls like to me your bulb shattered. Just because your game was still going does not mean your bulb is good. The average life span of a dlp bulb is 10000 hours but it is not uncommon for the the bulbs to go out earlier. Your user manual should tell you how to remove the bulb.

What home theater subwoofer should I buy?

Question by : What home theater subwoofer should I buy?
I have already bought a home theater system and are now looking for a home theater subwoofer to accompany my system. I dont know much about home theater subwoofer as my husband is the one who has send me out.

My budget for the home theater subwoofer is around 600$ as my husband wants a home theater subwoofer that will “blow him away”.

So what home theater subwoofer will you recommend and why?

Hard to advise you when you share so little information. If your system already has a subwoofer, it is very unlikely that anything else can be substituted. If you have a receiver with a subwoofer output, my personal favorite brand is Klipsch.

i was going to buy a big screen projector and a satellite dish for camping.
can you hook the projector directly to the satellite reciever and make the projector work?

yes you just have to connect it to your dish box the same as you would a tv.
