Check the back of your TV for an audio output. If you have one, you can plug it into an input on your surround system.

I have a JBL PSW-D110 home theater subwoofer that is making a constant, popping sound when ever the power cord is plugged in. The volume is turned all the way down, but it is popping like crazy.

I wondered if it was a grounding issue, but the cable doesn’t have a ground prong.

Answer by Hagar Viking
hi josh….if your sub woofer cable is the original that you received when purchased…its a bit strange that it does not have a earth/ground prong,so i would not replace with a three pronged plug…i think the problem may be with the sub woofers amplifier….another possibility…one should never run lighting with components from the same power board for eg, that can cause some really strange problems…you should run this sub woofer to its own power outlet from the wall…..so providing its not any of those things i’ve mentioned…i would advice you to seek professional help from a reputable technician/service provider.

BenQ W710ST Projector http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/benq-w710st-projector http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/benq-w710st-projector#comments Sat, 12 May 2012 12:51:14 +0000 admin http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/benq-w710st-projector

A few short clips showing the out of the box quality of the BenQ W710ST projector. The footage is projected onto a white wall that has quite a rough texture and a glossy finish. All the walls in my front room are white and there was quite a bit of ambient light coming in even though i’d closed the curtains.I think the picture quality is fantastic even though it’s not pitch black in there. As this is the first projector i’ve owned i can’t compare it to any others but i consider it to be money well spent.I know it only does 720p but for what i intend to use it for it’s ideal. The screen size is 100″ and the projector is sat 5′ 3″ away from the wall. I left the sound off so you wouldn’t be distracted. The speaker on the projector is ok for what it is and would be fine for a presentation or in a classroom. If you’re going to watch plenty of movies on it, i would suggest a good quality surround sound system.

I have an $ 800 budget for a digital projector for my classroom. I’m looking for the best quality for the money.

I’m looking at the Dell 1200MP DLP projector (received pretty good CNET reviews, but others look good on costco.com ). Is there anyone out there who knows anything about overall picture quality, brightness, and bulb longevity for projectors?

Optoma HD 65 and optoma 3DXL 3D Projector Adapter install http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/optoma-hd-65-and-optoma-3dxl-3d-projector-adapter-install http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/optoma-hd-65-and-optoma-3dxl-3d-projector-adapter-install#comments Thu, 10 May 2012 17:04:44 +0000 admin http://www.homedlp.com/home-dlp-videos/optoma-hd-65-and-optoma-3dxl-3d-projector-adapter-install

Though Id put together a bit of info on the 3DXl Projector adapter. The firmware upgrade for my HD65 came out towards the end of December 2011 so I took the plunge and purchased the Adapter and the glasses from Tesco Direct . First thing to do was download the free upgraded firmware for the projector which took around 10 mins from the very clear instructions on the Optoma web site. www.optomaeurope.com Price for the Adapter was £199 and an extra pair of glasses cost £59 also from Tesco. Initially I had a lot of setup issues and this really prompted me to put this film together. Main issue was red flaring on the screen coupled with blurring and signal loss on non 3d channels. Eventually I came to realise that the cables were not up to scratch from my sources (PlayStation and Sky Hd box) and also found a thread that suggested lowering the output of the HD box to 720p in the Sky setup page. So out to Maplins and got a 20m 1.4 HDMI cable (ouch ) for £60 and a .5m 1.4 hdmi cable for ( ouch ) £20 lowered the resolution to 720 and low and behold perfect operation and stunning 3d images. and full switching between playstation / Blueray and Sky HD Box. All in all a great upgrade which allows the viewing of 3d at a pretty good price . Saved me investing in a new tv and gives me 75″ 3d tv at one swoop. Any questions give me a shout . Sorry about the poor camera work at the end I wasnt paying enough attention.

A little clip of my projector playing Pulp Fiction in Blu Ray Sorry about the darkness of the room and the quality is low cause i’m video recording from an Olympus 10 Mpixel digital photo camera so the resolution is 640×480 at 30fps. Also take into considaration that the video quality is heaps better when you audition this unit personally in a bat cave its also pretty bright at 2200 lumens. I reccomend it cause its very cheap and affordable.

Of course. They do not interfere with each other. He will hear everything from the home theater system and you will hear it from the turtle beach. I have always done this with my brother. Please make best answer so I can hit 100 best answers.
